What did this wife do to restraint herself from bothering her hubby? Creating whirring and banging noise, clanging the bakewares and voila!!! Soft bun!
I just remembered that our friends are that life in Georgia are in town this weekend to attend the
Franklin Graham Festival. My friends has been living here for more than ten years and never goes home since then. I thought she might miss bread that's common in Indo. So I made soft bun (a.k.a
roti sobek) with recipe that I bought from home. Indo's bread is softer and tastier (sweeter) in taste than bread that I usually find here. I guess because people in Indo treat bread as a snack while here people treat it as one of the main source of carbohydrate. I can fell the big difference on the dough's texture.
Anyway, I overestimated myself again. At 8.00 PM I just started egg-washing the bun. The bread was still hot from the oven when we brought it; and I am so happy that my friend and her daughter were so excited to try my homemade bread
