Milking cows always look cute in my eyes. I love their spots and colors. My friend laughed at me when I told her my impression of cows. She lived in a farm and knew the nitty-gritty of raising cows. She said that it was far from cuteness. Hahaaa...
These past years, I often find myself adoring drawings or art pieces that are simplified from the real objects. I love how people creatively redefine animals and people to artful characters. That is the reason I like cartoon movies. I am impressed of how vector objects can represent living creatures in such creative ways. I know some people see it as deceiving especially for kids because the beast side on the real animals are often hidden from the characters. For me, it is a freedom of expression, and I often find it amusing.
So, here is cow bento I made this morning for hubby. I hope he didn't have lunch meeting with his boss today
This bento consists of
hainanese rice, fresh red and green pepper,
nori (seaweed),
ayam saus Inggris (chicken with worchestire sauce), baked tempeh, summer squash for the ears, and cauliflower for the hair.
The picture on top is a sketch of the bento. I had to make some adjustments to fit the container. I thought of using a rectangle Tupperware box, but hubby would warm the food before eating and we prefer glass container for hot food. I may use the Tupperware one for food that doesn't require warming.
